At first I skipped over this book in my to read list because it was so expensive, over twice as much as another book on the list but once I saw how many people had read it and it’s average rating I decided to give it a shot and boy am I glad I did.

I’m not sure that I’ve ever read a book in this person before but I have to say that I loved it. It felt like the author was reading the book to me and laying all of the scenes out for me.

Drew. Holy shit Drew! I mean even as a cad and a womanizer, I couldn’t help but laugh with him and shake my head at some of his antics but he’s impossible not to like.

And Kate. Holy powerhouse woman! I’m not sure it’s possible to dislike her or to be able to not stand with her woman to woman. I love her take no prisoners attitude and how she laid it all out there with no apologies.

Drew finally met his match in Kate and it was glorious to watch! Of course I smacked myself in the forehead when he pretended to be on the phone with a slut in front of Kate but I cheered him on throughout the re-wooing process and hoped that Kate would see his intentions were true.

Fantastic book! Read in one day. On to the next in the series. Get this book!! Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

OH MY holy hell...what a freaking hilarious time I just had reading a book!!
TANGLED has been sitting in my wishlist for a long time...but it was just too pricey that I could not justify the cost...then it went on sale this week and there ya go...one clicked that baby and now it's history. I devoured that book quicker than a hot fudge sundae...and I do love my ice cream =)
Drew...what an interesting fellow...and it was just a hoot that he was the narrator (and written by a woman) and so entertaining that I felt like I was watching a stand-up comedian perform his "how to" secrets for catching a woman. It was just so funny and sarcastic and devilish and smoking hot sexy, that I thought I would just combust at times.
Katherine is that sweet, smart woman who unfortunately suffers from low self-esteem (why else would she stay with a jerk BF for 11 years in a practically loveless relationship of convenience?) and it isn't until she lands a great job at Drew's firm that she is appreciated for the treasure she really is....and not a doormat.
Family members, co-workers, friends who meddle and encourage (as well as cause trouble) also make up this awesome story of finding the ONE who will make you want to settle down and give up the chase for the next best thing. I was in awe of Emma Chase's writing style...it was effortless and so much fun that you felt like you were in on the joke and the schemes the entire time...and the emotions that were dragged out of me were ridiculous, ranging from shock to anger to joy to satisfaction.
What a wonderful gift this book was to experience...it was so fast paced that I finished it in a couple of hours! I highly recommend to anyone who loves the chase and believes in finding love....and doesn't mind a lot of sexy steam in their romance novels =)

Such a great start. I loved how Drew and Kate meet. I love the bickering, the competitiveness, the pranks, and the passion. They were combustible. The author is so talented. The writing flowed and the characters came to life. I wanted to find out how these two reached their HEA so freaking bad. I tried. I really tried but there are things I just can't stomach. I couldn't finish. ***Spoiler Alert*** If you don't want to be spoiled then stop now. I don't think it's a spoiler that is important enough to ruin the book but I have to warn you.

Drew starts out being a serious player. Now I could have probably overlooked it if the author didn't make it a point to tell the reader every time Drew screwed a woman who was not Kate. I overlooked the first one because he just barely spoke to Kate and then she was gone. I overlooked the second one because they still didn't really know each other and Kate is engaged. It was very difficult to overlook. By the third time Drew slept with someone else, I'd had enough. By then they were friends of sorts and he was fantasizing about Kate regularly. They were finally in good terms and the attraction was obviously mutual yet it didn't stop him from screwing yet another chick in the back of a cab. My stomach turned one too many times. Kate is still engaged at this point but we don't hear about every time she has sex. Why do we have to hear about Drew? I got the point when he did the coffee shop chick. I didn't need to hear about it ever again. It was obvious then that he was very active. The point was made so move on.

This author is awesome so I plan to try a different book by her. Hopefully, I will not have to DNF again.
