Just A Woman takes up where Just A Man left off, so guess what? You must read Just A Man first! WOW WOW WOW! Just A Man's ending was a cliffhanger, but I had the next book already, so I didn't even blink. However, the author hit new levels of evil cliffy in Just A Woman, and I DO NOT have the final book. So this means that she has earned herself a one way ticket to the list of authors trying to KILL ME DEAD! AND, since the cliffhanger ending was even more intense this round, I have to hash tag her #EVILWHORE forevermore. Now that I got out some serious dramatic girly girl emotions out, not to say there won't be more, I have to say that the character development is great, with the story told in Alex's POV, makes it even more intense. A few more are added in the entertaining cast of secondaries, and they really just add to an already awesome story. Shannon Youngblood definitely knows how to write a super HOT HOT HOT sexy scene, but in this book, she hit more on the emotional side of things, and it was no less brilliant. In fact, it upped the ante, if possible. Somehow, she wrote even more diabolical twists and turns that had the f-bombs raining down everywhere. Plus, I'm still calling her some very colorful metaphors since she writes some serious SUSPENSE! I may or may not be stalking her until the final book comes out, as it's not on my kindle right this minute, but I cannot HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Porter Trilogy, Just A Woman, or Shannon Youngblood enough!
OK this author is a freaking genius but seriously ticked off right now!!! I mean yes I can read and yes I know its a trilogy but the ending on this one is oh CRAP moment would of said the other word but you know don't want my review kicked off.. just freaking genius.

OK enough of that here is my actual review.

It actually picks right up where book one left off. The only difference is it's Alex's POV which the author does an amazing job from is prospective. We learn and get a few glimpses into his past and let me tell you are horrific you just want to cuddle him. It kind of explains why he is just a control freak and it's always this way. It also explains why he is a control freak. I don't think you will question his love after this book.

Charlie is dealing with a lot of turmoil and heartbreak in this one as well of some of the aftermath from book one. And some new developments arise. I mean how much can one person endure ?? A few surprises come about too....not going to give it all way just know you've got to reads this amazing series and authors work.

One last tidbit before I go can anyone say Jellybean???

Thanks for keeping this avid reader entertained and get to writing the conclusion to this freaking amazing series!!

How did I end up here so fast!!?? I just started Just a man and now I've finished this one and I have to wait until the beginning OF NEXT YEAR?! 😭😱 I don't know if I'm gonna make it!! This series absorbs me! I need MORE!!!
I loved this second installment of The Porter Trilogy. I discovered this author recently and am so delighted I started reading her works. This is a great read!
I loved how this book picked right up where the first left off.. no waiting to build back up.. it's just right back into the story.
I love the realism, the up to date technology.. things we can relate to in our current world. (doesn't feel like outdated porn)
I'm going to be very impatiently waiting for the final chapter!!
Just like the first, this one did not disappoint!! I could not wait to see how the story unfolded and now that I've read it, I cannot wait for the next one! The author's talent grows in leaps and bounds with every turn of the page and getting to read this from a new perspective was a real treat. She handles the different personalities of our hero and heroine flawlessly, you wouldn't even need it to tell you which character was speaking. Not only does the story keep you unable to put this book down, but the whole and complete and oh so realistic characters keep your heart in the game. You don't regret reading this series, and I look forward to reading anything else the author releases!
I love Shannon to death. Every single book she doesn't disappoint me. I am heart broken at th3 ending.

You have a part two of a wonderfully, difficult relationships. The love between the two main characters captures you. Shannons still wonderful with your descriptions making you feel like u are right there.
A man with a dark past who's never known love until he meets her. She has had a world of hurt come to her and she is just trying to move on, but she cant.
I recommended anything Shannon writes bc she will definitely take u on an emotional rollercoaster.
